What makes you a respectful person? What things do you do that require a lot of respect?

Another one of our classroom rules is "Be Respectful". List things you do in or out of school that make you a respectful person. Write about ways you have shown respect that you are proud of. Make sure to add details as they make your writing more interesting. Remember to add your first name to your post in order to get credit for your writing.

I consider myself a respectful person because I show respect in many ways. I show respect at school, at home, and to myself.

One of the ways I show respect is in my work. I treat my students honestly and fairly just as I would want to be treated. I help them solve problems in ways that teach them to become independent thinkers. I show respect to other teachers and staff by treating them with kindness.

I also show respect at home. I treat my family with honesty and fairness and am helpful around the house. My make sure my neighbors know me as a respectful person and keep communicating with them so we know each other and can build trust in one another.

Another person I respect is myself. I take care of myself by eating right and exercising. I also am respectful to myself by continuing to learn new things each and every day.
