I have many favorite things about fall. One is the way the green of summer slowly finds its way out of the landscape. Fall smells better than any other season. Leaves are toasty brown. There is a feeling of hurried animals and rushed people, wanting to get everything done before the snow comes.
Another one of my favorite things about fall is the start of school. I love the anticipation of winter and the colors changing in almost everything, even my summer tanned skin. Fall is one of those seasons that comes early and seems to leave as fast as it arrives. I wonder when it will feel like winter is here?
